Charmaine Crowell-White will provide a first-person portrayal of famed abolitionist and women’s rights activist Sojourner Truth. Born Isabella in the late 1790s, in New York State, Truth escaped to freedom and became a noted champion of human rights. Black History Month events are included with regular paid Park admission or active Park memberships.
