Breakthrough Trail 5K at Pamplin

This Annual event is a partnership between the Park and Tri-Cities Road Runners. The race will take place on historic Civil War battlefield trails starting and ending at the Education Center Freedom Garden, 6523 Duncan Road. Top adult overall male and female finishers and top youth finishers, in each age group, will receive awards.
The start time is at 9:00 am and race day registration is open from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Runner and walker registrations postmarked by October 23, 2020 are $25.00 adults and $10.00 youths with a guarantee of a t-shirt. Thereafter and race day, registration is $30.00 adults and $15.00 youths with no t-shirt guarantee.

Tri-Cities Road Runners, The Bank of Southside Virginia, Choice Waste Services, Crater Community Hospice, Dinwiddie Health & Rehabilitation Center and Walmart Distribution Center-Sutherland are sponsoring this event. Tri-Cities Road Runners will also be providing logistical and technical support to include posting the timing results of the race. “Tri-Cities Road Runners was established in 1980. The primary purpose of TCRR is to promote and encourage running and overall fitness through educational and charitable means.”-TCCR website
