The A. Wilson Greene Scholarship Fund (AWGSF) is a grant program that assists schools and other tour groups with financial support for transportation costs to attend field trips at Pamplin Historical Park. Pamplin Historical Park is aware that student groups are often prevented from scheduling field trips due to the cost of providing transportation. The AWGSF is designed to help defray the cost of transportation so that more students and other tour groups are able to experience the extraordinary programming offered at Pamplin Historical Park.

The Remembrance Wall
Beneath the words “In Memory of Those Who Served” are the names of those who responded to the call of duty during the Civil War. Pamplin Historical Park is proud to offer visitors an opportunity to honor an ancestor or any other Civil War Soldier. For a small fee, the name and military unit of the soldier as well as the name of the purchaser will be etched into a silver-toned plaque and prominently displayed on this handsome mahogany wall.
Please click here for a copy of the Remembrance Wall brochure and order form. Park historians will verify the name, rank, and unit for each soldier remembered. As soon as your request is processed, you will receive a Presentation Certificate that is suitable for framing, and your plaque will be added to The Remembrance Wall.
Bench Dedications and Donations
Do you know someone with a passion for history?
You can give the gift of a new Pamplin Historical Park bench to an individual, family, or organization. In honor of your contribution, a 4″x 6″ engraved bronze plaque will be placed on your bench with a brief inscription of your choice. Benches will be placed where there is the greatest need for our visitors.
You may also dedicate an existing bench with an engraved bronze plaque. Dedication plaques may be placed on any unclaimed bench.
Please click here for a copy of the bench donation and plaque dedication form.
Orders will be acknowledged with a letter and Presentation Certificate suitable for framing prior to the installation of the bench or plaque. Those interested in holding a bench dedication ceremony are welcome to contact the Park for more information.
