At Pamplin Historical Park’s Valentine Tea ladies and gentlemen in period dress will teach guests 19th-century etiquette while they enjoy gourmet tea and snacks. Hear about famous love stories of 19th century couples where love was for better or worse! (Jefferson Davis + Sarah Knox Taylor, Jenny Wade + Jack Skelly, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, etc). Breakthrough Battle Anniversary

Join us as we remember the 155th Anniversary of the Breakthrough Battle, which ended the 292-day Petersburg Campaign and forced the Confederate withdrawal from Petersburg and Richmond. A mere seven days later the surrender took place at Appomattox.
