Title: ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST
Status: Full-time, Salaried-non-exempt with benefits
Starting Pay: $33,000.00
Schedule: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Primary Duties:
The Administrative Specialist provides administrative support for the day-to-day administration of the Park. The incumbent spends portions of his/her workdays greeting visitors to the Administrative Offices answering and routing incoming calls, communicating on the Park radio network, and performing basic administrative duties. The remaining portion of work time is spent providing support to the budget, finance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and procurement functions of the Administration department. The Administrative Specialist will also assist in organizing membership and fund raising mailings and processing donations and membership applications. The incumbent also assists other departments and participates in special events as needed, and performs other duties as assigned.

Title: SENIOR EDUCATION AND INTERPRETATION SPECIALIST
Status: Full-time, Salaried-exempt with benefits
Starting Pay: $38,000.00
Schedule: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Primary Duties: The Senior Education and Interpretation Specialist performs all front-line functions in Education and Interpretation. He/she serves as the direct support to the Director of Education and Interpretation and acts as supervisor in their absence. The incumbent maintains proficiency in all the Park’s Education and Interpretation programs, participates in Civil War Adventure Camps, leads Custom Tours, and bears primary responsibility for scheduling group tours and seasonal staff when needed.

Title: PARK RANGER
Status: Full-time, Salaried-non-exempt with benefits
Starting Pay: $32,000.00
Primary Duties: The Park Ranger performs day-to-day protection and resource management functions. The incumbent operates power equipment and motor vehicles, performs manual labor requiring heavy lifting, and occasionally works in hazardous and adverse weather conditions. He/she bears responsibility for implementing approved plans and procedures to ensure park safety and security for visitors, staff, and property. Provides first aid and responds to various emergency situations. The incumbent also performs resource management tasks associated with historic scene restoration, trail and fence maintenance and construction, and hazardous tree removal. The Park Ranger may have the opportunity to develop skills
necessary to provide interpretive support for Civil War Adventure Camp programs, living history and other special programs, and serve as a backup educator and costumed interpreter. The incumbent may also have the opportunity to participate in the maintenance of the Park’s library and execute functions related to basic historical services offered by the Park.

Title: EDUCATION AND INTERPRETIVE ASSISTANT Status: Part-time, hourly position with no benefits
Starting Pay Range: $15.00-$17.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Thursday-Sunday, some holidays
Primary Duties:
The Education/Interpretive Assistant is responsible for providing direct visitor services at the Park that
includes organized school groups, adult groups, and daily walk-in visitors and military and civilian
living history. The position requires a dynamic and passionate individual who can provide excellent
visitor experience with delivery of daily tours and demonstrations to include programs given in living
history attire. The desired candidate will be proficient in civilian, military, and enslaved history ranging
from 18th Century Colonial to Reconstruction.

Title: PARK OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
Status: Part-time, hourly position with no benefits
Starting Pay Range:
$14.00 to $16.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule:
Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Primary Duties:
The Park Operations Assistant serves as a generalist involved in many aspects of daily Park operations,
assisting in protection & resource management, maintenance, visitor services, and admission & retail sales. The incumbent will operate power equipment and motor vehicles, perform manual labor requiring heavy lifting and occasionally work in hazardous and adverse weather conditions. He/she bears responsibility for assisting in the implementation of approved plans and procedures to ensure park safety and security for visitors, staff, and property. The incumbent will perform resource management tasks associated with historic scene restoration, trail and fence maintenance and construction, and hazardous tree removal. He/she will possess the ability to open and close the Park in accordance with standard operating procedures. The incumbent will operate visitor services duty stations throughout the Park and assist the retail and admissions staff with duties in the Civil War Store and at the admissions desk.
