SUMMARY:Fall Home School Day
DESCRIPTION:Students will be led through three of the Park’s established education programs: “The Civil War- Why They Fought\,” which helps explain why the nation came to war with itself; “Civil War Battles\,” which explains the evolution of Civil War combat and the importance of geography; and “Duty Called Me Here\,” which interactively explores the National Museum of the Civil War Soldier. \nWe ask that participating families or groups pre-register by calling 804-861-2408 to reserve their spots. We are limiting this learning opportunity to 35 total parents and students to help better accommodate social distancing. We ask that participants wear a face mask while indoors. Bring a brown-bag lunch.
